Plenty of horrors have subverted the 'women in the fridge' cliche and all the usual victim tropes but thats not what this is doing.
We cant beat misogyny by becoming misandrists. We're supposed to stop hate, not perpetuate it.
The movie is cheap looking but well acted and competent. Script is pathetic.

Da warte ich gespannt auf Robert Hoffmans review. Have you ever done that when your friends doesnt talk to you you feel like you will become the joker. Litteraly no redeeming qualities except some cool shots. The story is ridiculously simple, the female empowerment angle falls flat when the original did it so much better, and horror in general for the last 40 years.I love horror movies even the bad ones but I found no enjoyment in this at all. Black Christmas full movie. Terima movie... I love how you said that Peter plays piano in some sort of medieval conservatory 😂 Thats exactly what I thought when I first watched it. Already know what's gonna happen. Guess I'll watch the ORIGINAL 1974 version like always. Now. that's a good movie. People are STILL debating the ending. Somehow, I don't think grafting a "smash the patriarchy" girl power message all over onto a stupid college slasher movie really works. It gets especially obnoxious when that message permeates every single part of the story without being naturally threaded through it.
Apart from that, there is not much to the movie. It follows typical slasher bits and yet is somehow hard to follow. I went in not expecting much and hoping for it to be in the "so bad it's good" category, but this is not even that.
Bill Hader is on the grind this 2019. Daaamn. This is his year. Wow what a terrible film i actually walked out of the cinema after 35 mins i just did not want to sit thru another hour of this rubbish. i would rather just go watch scream " a classic " for about the 20th time instead.
